Research
Lean research is conducted through in-company activities such as workshops, experiments, and multi-organizational research partnerships. Key strategic functions of in-company research include: helping to inform the challenges an organization faces as it undergoes a lean transformation and as it moves from the tool age to the lean management age; serving as verification of lean principles; helping with the identification and development of new products and services (such as publications and workshop series). Ultimately, through this research, affiliates have the opportunity to hear the voice of the customer in a new, more personal, and distinct way. Affiliates advance each others' lean knowledge through collaborative in-company research. Through this team effort, affiliates are able to apply their skills to multiple divisions of an international company.
Please contact your local affiliate to determine what kind of in-company work, or research partnerships, they conduct. |
